About Us
We started Light Bridges Magazine for many reasons....
- We were always finding out about spiritual events AFTER they were over. Events that we would have attended if we had known about them.
- We were meeting many wonderful, talented people that had difficulty finding a platform for sharing their gifts.
- People were having trouble connecting with those that could assist them on their sacred path.
We began Bridges Publications and Light Bridges Magazine in November 2004. The original issue has a photo of "The Bridge Where Dreams Come True" on the cover. We made 60 copies.
Light Bridges is environmentally friendly.
It is printed on recycled paper with soy ink.
It is delivered through the mail, even to distributors.
I started writing in elementary school, and began the first school newspaper in the 4th grade. The newspaper was called "Fantasy". I came into this world knowing what I was suppose to do. By the 6th grade I had written a play, and by the time I finished high school I had written a novel. I have sold stories freelance, and written for USAirways Inflight Magazine. By publishing Light Bridges Magazine, I can give other people a chance to reach their audience.

With each new day I experience change and growth. From the first time I saw spirit beings in the 50's to the now where all things are possible. During the middle 80's I was totally awakened and granted a number of spiritual gifts. As the years passed, I developed my healing abilities and mediumship. Now my focus has once again turned. I find drumming and healing are one in the same. It's all in the vibrations!

Our first event was the "Feeling Good Expo" in Lockport during 2005. We wanted to participate in a holistic expo, but no one was doing one. So we stumbled blindly ahead. We owe much gratitude to our friends for helping us bring this event together, year after year. We have always strived to keep it affordable so that all who are interested may both participate and attend. The expo is known for it's balance and great energy. You will find medical doctors next to aura photographers next to tarot readers. We changed the name to the Earth-Spirit Expo in 2006. The first expo was a success, with 30 vendors and 200 people attending. The 2009 Earth-Spirit Expo had 100 vendors and 2500 visitors! The expo has become our signature event and we're looking forward to continued growth in 2010!

A Word About Spelling.... We get accused of alot of wrong spelling in our magazine. Our writers are from the U.K., Israel and Canada as well as the U.S. They sometimes spell things differently than we might. Also, because of the creative nature of our magazine, we have writers that make up their own words, or their own spelling of words, and they consider this creative license. We do not disagree. And sometime we miss one. We're human. Please try and find the greater good.
We're sometimes asked why we don't put out more magazine copies at each distribution location. We'd like to, but we can only afford to give away so many for free. And many of our local advertisers can't afford a higher priced ad. So we try and give away enough to wet your interest, so that you'll buy a subscription to the magazine and support the community and our efforts. Think energy exchange! If there's no exchange, there's no benefit to either one of us.
So.... then one day we were walking in the Eastern Hills Mall. Even though it was the middle of the week, there were alot of people around. It seemed like a great place to open a Center. The same people that were writers for the Magazine, and vendors at the Expo, could meet in one spot! Here was a great place that they could come together!
Not just once a year, or once a month....
but everyday!
We painted "The Center" a dark maroon color to simulate the heart space. We want everyone that visits to be in a warm and loving and alive space. The perfect place for learning or healing or connecting.
